Adult Ministries

Nativity offers many opportunities for adults to learn as well as serve. For a complete listing of activities, check the church calendar on our home page.

Small Groups

Nativity has many and varied small group, meditation, and Bible study opportunities for people in all phases of life. These usually are on-going or run for 4-6 weeks in the Fall or Spring.

Meditation Group - meets every other Monday at 7:30 p.m. There is an inexpensive book that the group uses as a guide.

Women's Table Talk

Women's Table Talk - Women are each unique and have abundant gifts and wisdom to share with one another. This group gathers at Nativity on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7:00 PM. - 9:00 PM. Each gathering is facilitated by a different participant and the evening includes simple refreshments, a relevant topic selected by the facilitator, and open conversation among those who attend.

All women of Nativity and their guests are invited to the table. Come pull up a chair!

Book Discussion Group - meets monthly, usually on the fourth Sunday of the month at 7:00 pm to discuss books that the group has chosen and read before the group meeting.

Men's Group - meets monthly, usually on the last Tuesday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm to discuss topics of concern to men of all ages. All men are welcome.

Spirituality and Watercolor Group - meets for day and evening sessions in the Fall and the Spring.

Women's Guild - is a women's fellowship group which meets the first Monday of the month at 12:00 noon. Participants are asked to bring a sandwich. Beverages and dessert are provided. After a brief business meeting, there is generally an interesting program or speaker.

Soul Feasts Every Wednesday in the season of Lent, this group meets for a simple meal together and a meditation led by members of the congregation.

Retreats - Twice each year, fall and spring, we hold a Spiritual Retreat for adults.
