Chancel Choir sings most Sundays from September through early June. Rehearsals are each Thursday from 7:30 to 9 p.m., beginning in September. New members are always welcome! Although choir members do not need to be able to read music, prospective members should be able to sing on pitch, i.e., carry a tune. Music styles range from classical to hymn-based anthems, to contemporary and praise music. This is a fun group that also enjoys social get-togethers throughout the year. English Handbell Choir plays monthly from September to June. Rehearsals are each Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning in September. Musical styles range from hymn-based anthems to concertato arrangements of hymns (with choir, organ and congregation) to original anthems by leading bell composers. If you are interested in becoming a member, please come to a rehearsal or contact the Director, Jane Kubacki. High School Choir for youth in grades 9 through 12 sings the first Sunday of each month during the school year. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning in September. Junior Choir for children from grades 3 through 8 generally sings the last Sunday of each month during the school year. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., beginning in September. Genesis Choir for children from kindergarten through grade 2 usually sings in worship the last Sunday of each month during the school year. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:25 p.m., beginning in September. The children learn how to sing on pitch and practice rhythmic skills. They also learn about the seasons and special celebrations of the church year. The Genesis choir participates in the yearly cantata/musical. New members are always welcome!
