Beyond Our Walls
Friends of the Night People - Our congregation serves a full dinner to an average of 150 people at the Friends of the Night People, a soup kitchen on the Westside of Buffalo, on the third Friday of each month from about 3:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Several volunteers are needed to donate food they have prepared or purchased for the dinner. Additional volunteers are needed to transport the food, serve and clean up.

Refugee Ministry - Over the years, Nativity's congregation has sponsored newly arrived refugee families through Journey's End Refugee Services. Volunteer opportunities include providing transportation for our sponsored families to the store and to medical appointments, helping orient them to their new community and with learning to speak English.
Nativity also participates in various outreach projects such as the Sleep Out for the Homeless, Dunkirk Conference Center up-keep and retreats, along with activities in cooperation with other area churches. For a complete listing of activities, check the church calendar on our home page.
