VOICE Buffalo
Nativity is an active participant with the faith-based community
organization VOICE-Buffalo. VOICE-Buffalo is comprised of congregations
and neighborhood groups from across the Buffalo Region dedicated to
strengthening its member groups and revitalizing Western New York,
especially its distressed neighborhoods. VOICE-Buffalo recognizes the
need to have a plan that addresses the social well-being of all WNY
residents - from the refugee population to the working class laborer and
the middle class business person.
VOICE-Buffalo:
- Trains leaders to engage in public life to make a
difference in our communities.
- Acts locally to build
relationships inside and outside its member congregations to empower
people to raise and address issues in their neighborhoods and the
city.
- Builds regionally to break down the barriers that
divide us and create an equitable distribution of economic and social
resources.
