Throughout the month of May, we continue to celebrate the Easter Season so our focus will be on how the Risen Christ seeks to be "Intimately Present" with his followers, then and now.

May 6 - Intimately Present In Breath - When the Risen Christ came to his followers, he breathed on them the gift of the Spirit and they came alive in new ways. Christ breathes his Spirit into us, too.

May 13 - Intimately Present in Doubt - Can we really believe that Christ is alive? Sometimes we have doubts, but the Risen Christ comes to be especially present in the midst of these doubts.

May 20 - Intimately Present in Broken Bread - The Risen Christ comes to be present in the sharing of Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome!

May 27 - Intimately Present in Fire and Wind - Today we'll celebrate Pentecost, considered the birthday of the church, when the Spirit came in a powerful way that transformed people in amazing ways. Us, too!

KidsOwnWorship Sunday School (ages 3 - grade 6) and Nursery Care (birth to age 3) are available during worship.

May Traditional Worship

Crazy Love is our overall worship theme for our Traditional Worship Services in May! That's the love which God has for us. And that's the love that God wants us to have for one another. Wonderful services come up in May: Confirmation, Mother's Day, our Children's Cantata, and then Memorial Day Sunday and Pentecost all rolled up in one. God's Crazy Love is behind every one of them! Be sure to be there!

Confirmation Sunday, May 6 - God Is Love -- I John 4:7-21 - First God loves us. Then God wants us to love others... all others! How crazy is that?

Mother's Day, May 13 - Love like Jesus - John 15:9-17 - "Love one another like I have loved you," says Jesus. "Lay your life on the line." Crazy?

Sunday, May 20 - Cantata: Once Upon a Parable - Celebrates Jesus' parables of love - What kind of crazy love makes a father forgive his outrageously wayward son?

Pentecost Sunday, May 27 - Love in our Bones - Acts 2:1-21 and Ezekiel 37:1-14 - Can God's Spirit of Love fire up a dead church or make dry bones live? Crazy, indeed!
